The bypass road of Lugagnano (PC) was inaugurated on May 23. The new road will ease the heavy traffic related to the Buzzi Unicem cement plant of Vernasca (PC), avoiding industrial transportation thru the town center. A stretch of 2 kilometers, “in which we have actively participated, with full satisfaction of the final result", said our Chairman Sandro Buzzi.
The opening ceremony had two separate moments: it began with the presentation of the project to the political, civil and administrative authorities in the conference room of Palazzo Gandolfi; then followed the symbolic cut of the ribbon and the "first walk" over the new bridge.
This project was conceived to strengthen the bond with the community that hosts us in the Piacenza province, as it’s extremely important to build up trust and operate in the general interest. In fact Sandro Buzzi, Chairman of Buzzi Unicem, underlined: "if companies are a source of wealth for the territory, the territory is a source of wealth for the companies."
