2007 was once again a decidedly positive year at group level, with strong growth of operating results and net profit, despite a steadily deteriorating global economic scenario. The geographical diversification strategy pursued in the last few years – and the consequent positive contribution of emerging countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and Mexico) – provides proper equilibrium of results, counterbalancing those areas where the economic cycle is slowing down (Italy and the USA).
